Our Congregation

St. Mary’s Episcopal Church
is a vibrant Christian community that has been serving the Lake Country Area since 1852.

We are a community of people like you seeking spiritual growth and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Our common journey of faith includes: Worship and prayer Support of one another Outreach to those in need Opportunities for formation and growth

We invite you to celebrate and share God's love, support and the life only God can give.

We worship together our services include scripture readings and relevant, upbeat sermons that connect the Bible with our everyday lives. Holy Communion is celebrated every Sunday. ALL baptized Christians are invited and welcome to our table.

Sundays - 8:00 AM
This worship service seeks to be a little more ‘quiet' in character. We sing a little less than at our 10:00 am service. At 8:00 AM, we are seeking to build in a little bit of silence into our prayer. It's a regular Sunday celebration in all other respects - filled with life and joy. We proclaim all of the Sunday readings, have a celebration of Holy Communion, and are sent forth to love and serve the Lord and one another.

Sundays - 10:00 AM
We celebrate, sing, share communion and are occasionally treated to an anthem by our choir or an instrumental meditation by a parish member. Under the guidance of our musician, Carrie, parish members are cantors for the psalm. During this service, Worship Center meets as does the Children's Liturgy of the Word.

Open Air Masses Periodically During Summer
7:30 am on the bank of the Bark River under cross. Refreshments & fellowship served in the parish hall after each Sunday service.

Centering Prayer
Monday at 5:30 PM.Centering Prayer is contemplative prayer by nature. It is a search for the presence of God within through being still. We hear the gospel reading for the day and then simply spend time together in holy silence in our beautiful church building. All are welcome.

Morning Prayer with Holy Communion
Wednesday mornings at 9:00 AM for this beautiful weekday service. We pray one of the psalms, have readings from Scripture and share in the Eucharist.

We grow in mind and spirit
God continually calls us to growth, change and new life. We offer Christian formation for God's people of all ages. Worship Center, which meets every Sunday, is for young children. Scriptures are presented in a manner appealing to young minds. Formation programs are also available for youth and adults.
